Reading forensic reports can sometimes appear rather daunting and challenging for non-scientists, especially when the forensic reports contain numerous scientific jargon and mathematical equations which run over many pages. How do you make sense of the findings and conclusions stated in the report, to use the information for your case? How much do you need to know about the chemistry behind each forensic discipline, tests conducted and the interpretation of findings?
